To determine the effect of modified team-based learning (MTBL) on students’ learning, long-term retention in a large classroom setting and to assess their perceptions of MTBL and immediate feedback assessment technique (IFAT). Students enrolled into the Pulmonary Disorders pharmacotherapy module were assigned to groups of five or six team members.
