The control of steam temperature in direct steam generation plants is challenging due to the complex physical process involved in turning water into steam, and the variable nature of solar radiation. This thesis explores the control of steam temperature at the outlet of a mono-tube cavity receiver powered by a 500 m2 dish concentrator, using state feedback control.
