In this paper a nonlinear model for AC machines is proposed that takes into account the magnetic saturation and magnetic interaction between both orthogonal magnetic axes. Furthermore, the model includes the presence of air-gap flux harmonic components caused by magnetic saturation and multiple-pole spatial saliencies.
