In this paper, we propose an analytical model for novel multimedia wireless and mobile networks using smart antennas. In the proposed networks, several beams having the same physical channel (e.g., frequency in FDMA, time slot in TDMA, spreading code in CDMA, or any combination of them) are formed in a cell. System capacity is increased dramatically by reusing the channels in the same cell.
