  • A noticeable improvement in the structural properties of Mn–Zn ferrite obtained by the solution combustion method was observed when the gel was additionally dried before self-combustion. The catalytic activity of thus prepared nanosized Mn–Zn ferrite has been also studied. The powders after combustion process were analyzed by X-ray diffraction and it was found that they possess pure spinel phase.
