OBJECTIVES To propose methods for mixed treatment comparisons (MTC) based on pooled summaries of the type produced in overviews of reviews. STUDY DESIGN AND SETTING Overviews of reviews (umbrella reviews) summarize the results of multiple systematic reviews into a single document.
