Transpedicular corpectomies are frequently used to perform anterior surgery from a posterior approach. Minimally invasive thoracolumbar corpectomies have been previously described, but these are performed through a unilateral approach. Bilateral access must be obtained for a circumferential decompression when using such techniques.
