Microwave phase shifter based on a fibre Bragg grating operating at constant wavelength

Abstract

We present a variable delay line for phased-array antennas based on a fiber Bragg grating of uniform period operating at constant optical wavelength. Time-delay variations of 330 ps in the frequency range 1 GHz to 14 GHz are demonstrated.
