To investigate the interaction of cytoskeleton with the receptor modulation of ionic currents, we studied the effect of muscarinic and beta-adrenergic stimulation in adult guinea-pig ventricular cardiac myocytes treated with paclitaxel and colchicine, two drugs that respectively stabilize or destabilize microtubules.
