Microtubule-disrupting drugs (nocodazole, colchicine) and cytochalasin D, which inhibits the polymerization of the actin microfilaments, were used to study the role of the cytoskeleton in protein secretion in the polarized Madin-Darby canine kidney (MDCK) epithelial cells. Two proteins were analyzed.
