  • The microstructure and mechanica l properties of ZAM84-1Si alloy before and after equal channel angular pressing(ECAP) were studied.The results show that,after four times ECAP,the α-Mg matrix grains significantly refines and massive Mg2Si reinforcing phase and ternary phase are broken into small granules distribution in the α-Mg matrix homogeneously;Yield strength of alloy is increased by 357%,tensile strength is increased by 408%,and elongation is increased by 235%.Compared with four times… CONTINUE READING
