OBJECTIVE To determine if microfracture is successful in treating chondral lesions of the shoulder. DESIGN Case series. SETTING Tertiary referral practice. PATIENTS From June 2005 to November 2006, eight patients underwent shoulder arthroscopy with arthroscopic microfracture to treat full-thickness chondral lesions of less than 4 cm(2) size.
