Microfloral and other changes which occurred in farm-stored grains at, below and above the maximum water level were documented after the Red River Valley flood of spring 1979 in southern Manitoba, Canada. Results of flood-damage simulation studies carried out in the laboratory on wheat, rapeseed and flax generally confirmed those from the field.
