Abstract Identification of calorimetric systems by methods based on finding a localized-constants model provides a physical image of the variable or invariant calorimetric system. This physical representation of the system allows one to obtain from the experimental thermogram a numerical approximation of the dissipated power by applying the representative equation of the model.
