The ongoing shift in mechatronics towards an increasing importance of information technology leads to increased discipline interfaces and increasing product complexity. Requirements engineering is a core aspect, in particularly, in interdisciplinary development. Here, methods can support engineers to handle complexity and coordinate development across disciplines.
