A method for increasing a work function of indium tin oxide by using a self-assembled molecular monolayer is provided to increase a work function of ITO(Indium Tin Oxide) to that of an organic semiconductor by hydroxiding the surface of the ITO and forming a self-assembled molecular monolayer at the ITO.
