We suggest an algorithm for metal artifact reduction (MAR) for both single energy and dual energy CT scans. The algorithm is based on a prevailing approach in CT metal artifact reduction. Measurements with a metal object are considered corrupted and completely unusable. The measurements are replaced by forward reprojection from a prior image.
