Based on the current condition of the teaching of non-English major postgraduates' listening and meta-cognitive theory,this paper analyzes the definition and main contents of meta-cognition and the classification of meta-cognitive strategies.It intends to apply meta-cognition and meta-cognitive strategies in the teaching of non-English major postgraduates' listening so as to help students develop their meta-cognitive senses and improve their level of listening comprehension.
