We studied the uptake of meso-tetra (carboxyphenyl) porphyrin (TCPP) nanoparticles by SW480 cells and carried out a systematic investigation of the cellular internalization mechanism of TCPP nanoparticles, also studied the photocytotoxicity of TCPP nanoparticles.
