OBJECTIVE To collate the clinical response and pathogen eradication rates for meropenem monotherapy with in vitro susceptibility of the causative pathogens. METHODS Data were compiled from 17 randomized clinical studies that compared meropenem monotherapy with standard treatment options, often combinations.
