Membranous nephropathy associated with primary biliary cirrhosis and acute meningitis.

Abstract

A 40-year-old man with acute meningitis, nephrotic syndrome, elevated antinuclear antibody (2560×), and liver dysfunction was referred to our hospital. He was antimitochondrial antibody positive, and renal and liver biopsy findings revealed membranous nephropathy (MN) and primary biliary cirrhosis (PBC), respectively.
