We present a homogeneous set of stellar atmospheric parameters (T-eff, log g, [Fe/H]) for MILES, a new spectral stellar library covering the range lambda lambda 3525-7500 angstrom at 2.3 angstrom (FWHM) spectral resolution. The library consists of 985 stars spanning a large range in atmospheric parameters, from super-metal-rich, cool stars to hot, metal-poor stars. The spectral resolution, spectral type coverage and number of stars represent a substantial improvement over previous libraries…

Stellar atmospheric parameters for 754 spectra from the X-shooter Spectral Library

Context. The X-shooter Spectral Library (XSL) is an empirical stellar library at medium spectral resolution covering the wavelength range from 3000 Å to 24 800 Å. This library aims to provide a

Coudé-feed stellar spectral library – atmospheric parameters

Context. Empirical libraries of stellar spectra play an important role in different fields. For example, they are used as reference for the automatic determination of atmospheric parameters, or for

Hot star extension to the Hubble Space Telescope stellar spectral library

Context. Libraries of stellar spectra find many uses in astrophysics, from photometric calibration to stellar population synthesis. Aims. We present low resolution spectra of 40 stars from 0.2 μm

A collection of model stellar spectra for spectral types B to early-M

Context. Models of stellar spectra are necessary for interpreting light from individual stars, planets, integrated stellar populations, nebulae, and the interstellar medium. Aims. We provide a

Stellar Parameters for the First Release of the MaSTar Library: An Empirical Approach

We report the stellar atmospheric parameters for 7503 spectra contained in the first release of the Mapping Nearby Galaxies at Apache Point Observatory survey (MaNGA) stellar library (MaStar) in

New atmospheric parameters and spectral interpolator for the MILES cool stars

Context: The full spectrum fitting of stellar spectra against a library of empirical spectra is a well-established approach to measure the atmospheric parameters of FGK stars with a high internal

The atmospheric parameters and spectral interpolator for the MILES stars

Context. Empirical libraries of stellar spectra are used to classify stars and synthetize stellar populations. MILES is a medium spectralresolution library in the optical domain covering a wide range

Stellar Atmospheric Parameters of M-type Stars from LAMOST DR8

The Large Sky Area Multi-Object Fiber Spectroscopic Telescope (LAMOST) Low Resolution Spectroscopic Survey (LRS) provides massive spectroscopic data on M-type stars, and the derived stellar

SDSS-IV MaStar: A Large and Comprehensive Empirical Stellar Spectral Library—First Release

We present the first release of the MaNGA Stellar Library (MaStar), which is a large, well-calibrated, high-quality empirical library covering the wavelength range 3622–10354 Å at a resolving power

The Extended IRTF Spectral Library: Expanded Coverage in Metallicity, Temperature, and Surface Gravity

We present a 0.7–2.5 μm spectral library of 284 stars observed with the medium-resolution infrared spectrograph, SpeX, at the 3.0 m NASA Infrared Telescope Facility (IRTF) on Maunakea, Hawaii. This
