We study gauge mediation of supersymmetry breaking in SU(5) supersymmetric grand unified theory with gauge fields as messengers. The generated soft supersymmetry breaking parameters lead to close to maximal mixing scenario for the Higgs mass and highly reduce the fine tuning of electroweak symmetry breaking. All gaugino, squark and slepton masses are determined by one parameter – the supersymmetry breaking scale. The characteristic features are: negative and non-universal squark and slepton…

The new flavor of Higgsed gauge mediation

Recent LHC bounds on squark masses combined with naturalness and flavor considerations motivate non-trivial sfermion mass spectra in the supersymmetric Standard Model. These can arise if

Supersymmetry breaking induced by radiative corrections

We show that simultaneous gauge and supersymmetry breaking can be induced by radiative corrections, à la Coleman-Weinberg. When a certain correlation among the superpotential parameters is present, a

Supersymmetry and electroweak fine tuning

Low scale supersymmetry (SUSY) is a compelling solution to the electroweak hierarchy problem. However, increasingly strong limits on the masses of superpartners, first from LEP and now the LHC, mean

Realization of a spontaneous gauge and supersymmetry breaking vacuum

A bstractIt is one of the major issues to realize a vacuum which breaks supersymmetry (SUSY) and R-symmetry, in a supersymmetric model. We study the model, where the same sector breaks the gauge

Unification of SUSY breaking and GUT breaking

Natural gauge mediation with a Bino next-to-lightest supersymmetric particle at the LHC.

The ATLAS diphoton search with 4.8 b(-1) of data is used to place limits in both the top-squark-gluino and neutralino-chargino mass planes, providing the first nontrivial constraints in natural gauge mediation models with a neutralino next-to-lightest supersymmetric particle decaying to photons.

Upper bound of the lightest Higgs boson mass in the minimal supersymmetric standard model

Supersymmetry-breaking loops from analytic continuation into superspace

We extend to all orders in perturbation theory a method to calculate supersymmetry-breaking effects by analytic continuation of the renormalization group into superspace. A central observation is

Supersymmetry breaking and moduli stabilization with anomalous U(1) gauge symmetry

Z'-mediated supersymmetry breaking.
