The overall effect of the mu-opioid receptor agonist DAMGO (Tyr-D-Ala-Gly-MePhe-Gly-ol) on ventrolateral periaqueductal grey (PAG) neurons in brain slices was studied using the whole-cell patch-clamp recording technique. 2.
