In a beam-like structure, which acts as a vibration transmission path, transmitted energy can be effectively suppressed by employing an active force. The energy transmission control can also be achieved at a certain frequency band without external energy by attaching a mechanical system, which may be composed with piezoelectric transducers, on the beam.
