We propose a mechanism of unconventional superconductivity in two-dimensional strongly correlated electron systems. We consider a two-dimensional Kondo lattice system or double exchange system with spin-orbit coupling arising from buckling of the plane. We show that a Chern-Simons term is induced for a gauge field describing the phase fluctuations of the localized spins. Through the induced Chern-Simons term, carriers behave like skyrmion excitations that lead to a destruction mechanism of… Expand

Half-Skyrmion theory for high-temperature superconductivity
We review the half-Skyrmion theory for copper-oxide high-temperature superconductivity. In the theory, doped holes create a half-Skyrmion spin texture which is characterized by a topological charge.Expand
Evolution of Néel order and localized spin moment in the doped two-dimensional Hubbard model
We investigate the effect of hole hopping on Neel order upon doping in the two-dimensional Hubbard model. The semiclassical staggered moment is computed in the doped region by solving saddle pointExpand
Pseudospin S = 1 formalism and skyrmion-like excitations in the three-body constrained extended Bose–Hubbard model
We discuss the most prominent and intensively studied S = 1 pseudospin formalism for the extended bosonic Hubbard model (EBHM) with the on-site Hilbert space truncated to the three lowest occupationExpand
EFFECTIVE THEORY FOR HIGH-TEMPERATURE SUPERCONDUCTIVITY BASED ON DUALITY AT S = 1/2 ANTIFERROMAGNETIC HEISENBERG MODEL
It is argued that in two-dimension duality connects the CP1 representation of the S = 1/2 antiferromagnetic Heisenberg model with the Schwinger model in which Dirac fermions are interact via a U(1)Expand
Topological Structures in Unconventional Scenario for 2D Cuprates
Numerous experimental data point to cuprates as d-d charge transfer unstable systems whose description implies the inclusion of the three many-electron valence states CuO47−,6−,5−$_{4}^{7-,6-,5-}$Expand
Unified picture of Néel order destruction, d-wave superconductivity and the pseudogap phase for high Tc cuprates
Evolution from Neel order to dx2−y2-wave superconductivity in the high Tc cuprates is described in terms of the skyrmion-like spin texture induced by the doped hole. The pseudogap phase, which isExpand
Theories of topologically-induced phenomena in skyrmion-hosting magnetoelectric insulators
There once was a harsh competition between different computer memory technologies, and now we cheer triumph for the Random Access-Memory (RAM) devices, -- cheap, fast, tiny, stable. The competingExpand
Half-skyrmion picture of single hole-doped high-Tc cuprate with Néel ordering
Abstract The single hole-doped CuO 2 plane is studied within the O(3) non-linear σ model and its CP 1 representation. It is argued that the spin configuration around a Zhang–Rice singlet is describedExpand
