Abstract

Mechanism of chromium adsorption by the persimmon tannin (PT) gel was examined. The PT gel can adsorb Cr highly effectively from aqueous solutions containing Cr(VI), while it adsorbed far smaller amounts of Cr from the solution containing Cr(III).
