Mechanism of Oxidation of Dimethyl Disulphide by Thiobacillus thioparus Strain

Abstract

A recently isolated organism, capable of chemolithoautotrophic growth on dimethyl disulphide, was characterized as a strain of Thiobacillus thioparus.
