Thermoanaerobacter tengcongensis is an anaerobic low-GC thermophilic bacterium. To further elucidate the replication initiation of chromosomal DNA at high temperature, the interaction between the replication initiator (TtDnaA) and the putative origin (Tt-oriC) in this thermophile was investigated.
