# Mechanism for Resolving Gauge Hierarchy and Large Vacuum Energy

Alternative forms of the solutions to the quantum field equations and their implications for physical theory are considered. Incorporation of these alternative solution forms, herein deemed "supplemental solutions", into the development of quantum field theory leads to a unique class of particle states, which may provide simple resolutions of more than one extant problem in high energy physics.
