Platelet aggregation measurements were done with the use of a commercially available microtiter plate reader with specific modification of the mode of agitation of the samples. Satisfactory aggregation curves were obtained with use of an external horizontal agitator, with an amplitude of 1.3 mm and minimum frequency of 1,360 cycles/minute.
