The electron (anti-)neutrino component of the T2K neutrino beam constitutes the largest background in the measurement of electron (anti-)neutrino appearance at the far detector. The electron neutrino scattering is measured directly with the T2K off-axis near detector, ND280. The selection of the electron (anti-)neutrino events in the plastic scintillator target from both neutrino and anti-neutrino mode beams is discussed in this paper. The flux integrated single differential charged-current…
Model-independent bounds on the nonoscillatory explanations of the MiniBooNE excess
We consider the non-oscillatory explanations of the low energy excess of events detected by MiniBooNE. We present a systematic search for phenomenological scenarios based on new physics which can
MiniBooNE Neutrino Oscillation Search Results and Predicted Background Events
In this short review, we discuss the 2020 MiniBooNE electron neutrino appearance oscillation results with special attention on background predictions relevant to the MiniBooNE oscillation results and
Exploring SMEFT induced nonstandard interactions: From COHERENT to neutrino oscillations
We investigate the prospects of next-generation neutrino oscillation experiments DUNE, T2HK and JUNO including TAO within Standard Model Effective Field Theory (SMEFT). We also re-interpret COHERENT
A New Generation of Neutrino Cross Section Experiments: Challenges and Opportunities
Our knowledge of neutrino cross sections at the GeV scale, instrumental to test CP symmetry violation in the leptonic sector, has grown substantially in the last two decades. Still, their precision
Measurement of the flux-averaged inclusive charged-current electron neutrino and antineutrino cross section on argon using the NuMI beam and the MicroBooNE detector
We present a measurement of the combined $\nu_e$ + $\bar{\nu}_e$ flux-averaged charged-current inclusive cross section on argon using data from the MicroBooNE liquid argon time projection chamber
Resonance refraction and neutrino oscillations
Abstract The refraction index and matter potential depend on neutrino energy and this dependence has a resonance character associated to the production of the mediator in the s−channel. For light

Measurement of the inclusive electron neutrino charged current cross section on carbon with the T2K near detector.
The T2K off-axis near detector ND280 is used to make the first differential cross-section measurements of electron neutrino charged current interactions at energies ∼1  GeV as a function of electron
Search for neutral-current induced single photon production at the ND280 near detector in T2K
Neutrino neutral-current induced single photon production is a sub-leading order process for accelerator-based neutrino beam experiments including T2K. It is, however, an important process to
Characterization of nuclear effects in muon-neutrino scattering on hydrocarbon with a measurement of final-state kinematics and correlations in charged-current pionless interactions at T2K
This paper reports measurements of final-state proton multiplicity, muon and proton kinematics, and their correlations in charged-current pionless neutrino interactions, measured by the T2K ND280
The electromagnetic calorimeter for the T2K near detector ND280
The T2K experiment studies oscillations of an off-axis muon neutrino beam between the J-PARC accelerator complex and the Super-Kamiokande detector. Special emphasis is placed on measuring the mixing
Measurement of double-differential muon neutrino charged-current interactions on C8H8 without pions in the final state using the T2K off-axis beam
We report the measurement of muon neutrino charged-current interactions on carbon without pions in the final state at the T2K beam energy using 5.734×1020 protons on target. For the first time the
Measurement of the intrinsic electron neutrino component in the T2K neutrino beam with the ND280 detector
The T2K experiment has reported the first observation of the appearance of electron neutrinos in a muon neutrino beam. The main and irreducible background to the appearance signal comes from the
Measurement of Electron Neutrino Quasielastic and Quasielasticlike Scattering on Hydrocarbon at ⟨E_{ν}⟩=3.6  GeV.
TLDR
The ratio of the quasielastic, flux-integrated differential cross section in Q^{2} for ν_{e} with that of similarly selectedν_{μ}-induced events from the same exposure is used to probe assumptions that underpin conventional treatments of charged-current ν_e interactions used by long-baseline neutrino oscillation experiments.
Inclusive charged-current neutrino-nucleus reactions
We present a model for weak charged-current induced nuclear reactions at energies of interest for current and future neutrino oscillation experiments. This model is a natural extension of the work in
Cross Sections and Charged Pion Spectra in Proton-Carbon Interactions at 31 GeV/c
As neutrino long baseline experiments enter a new domain of precision, the careful study of systematic errors due to poor knowledge of production cross sections for pions and kaons require more
Differences in Quasi-Elastic Cross-Sections of Muon and Electron Neutrinos
Accelerator neutrino oscillation experiments seek to make precision measurements of the neutrino flavor oscillations muon (anti)neutrino to electron (anti)neutrino in order to determine the mass
