Inclusive beauty-quark production in two-photon collisions has been measured at LEP using an integrated luminosity of 698 pb-1 collected by the ALEPH detector with sqrt(s) between 130 and 209 GeV. The b quarks were identified using lifetime information. The cross section is found to be sigma(e+ e- --> e+ e- b ar{b} X) = (5.4 +/- 0.8 (stat) +/- 0.8 (syst)) pb which is consistent with Next-to-Leading Order QCD.
Measurement of beauty production from dimuon events at HERA
A low transverse-momentum threshold for muon identification, in combination with the large rapidity coverage of the ZEUS muon system, gives access to almost the full phase space for beauty production.
Measurement of beauty photoproduction using decays into muons in dijet events at HERA
Beauty photoproduction in dijet events has been measured at HERA with the ZEUS detector using an integrated luminosity of 126 pb(-1). Beauty was identified in events with a muon in the final state by
Hadronic photon-photon scattering at LEP
Hadronic interactions of two quasi-real photons have been studied extensively both during the LEP1 and the LEP2 data taking periods. The higher energies available at LEP2 in particular opened regions
Anomalous gamma gamma interaction
Data from LEP2 on hadron production in interactions at high pT exceed the predictions of QCD by about an order of magnitude. The amplitude for the process is asymptotically proportional to the sum of
Data from the Large Electron Positron collider (LEP) at CERN on hadron production in gamma-gamma interactions exceed the predictions of the standard model by an order of magnitude at the highest

Measurement of the cross section for open-beauty production in photon-photon collisions at LEP
Abstract The cross section for open-beauty production in photon–photon collisions is measured using the whole high-energy and high-luminosity data sample collected by the L3 detector at LEP. This
Measurement of the open beauty and charm production cross sections in two photon collisions with DELPHI
Abstract Heavy b and c quark production in γγ collisions has been measured through semileptonic decays with the DELPHI detector at LEP. The 413 pb−1 of data were collected at center-of-mass energies
Measurement of the charm structure function F2,cγ of the photon at LEP
The production of charm quarks is studied in deep-inelastic electron–photon scattering using data recorded by the OPAL detector at LEP at nominal e+e− centre-of-mass energies from 183 to 209 GeV. The
Inclusive D$^*\pm$ production in two-photon collisions at LEP
Inclusive D^{*+-} production in two-photon collisions is studied with the L3 detector at LEP, using 683 pb^{-1} of data collected at centre-of-mass energies from 183 to 208 GeV. Differential cross
Heavy-quark production in two-photon collisions
Abstract Heavy quarks are copiously produced in two-photon collisions at e + e − colliders. We present the inclusive production rates and the final state distributions of the quarks, including QCD
Heavy Flavour Production in Two-Photon Collisions
We review the production of charm and bottom quarks in two-photon collisions at e+e- colliders. The next-to-leading order QCD predictions for total cross sections and differential distributions are
Experimental studies on multijet production ine+e− annihilation at PETRA energies
Hadronic jet production bye+e−-annihilation has been studied in the energy range of 14.0–46.7 GeV. The data have been analysed in terms of a cluster algorithm and other topological quantities. The
