A planar optode system based on an oxygen quenchable luminophore platinum (II) octaethyporphrin (PtOEP) bound with thin polystyrene (PS) film and UV light-emitting diodes (UV-LEDs) was developed to measure the dissolved oxygen (DO) concentration field in microscale water flows.
