Solutions of the Maxwell equations for electrostatic systems with manifestly vanishing electric currents in the curved space-time for stationary metrics are shown to exhibit a non-vanishing magnetic field of pure geometric origin. In contrast to the conventional magnetic field of the Earth it can not be screened away by a magnetic shielding. As an example of practical significance we treat electrostatic systems at rest on the rotating Earth and derive the relevant geometric magnetic field. We…

GENERAL RELATIVITY AND PRECISION TESTS OF FUNDAMENTAL SYMMETRIES
Search for the Electric Dipole Moment of nuclear particles is at the forefront of incessant quest for CP violation beyond Standard Model. The ultimate target is to reach a sensitivity to the electric

Spinning relativistic particles in external fields
The motion of spinning relativistic particles in external electromagnetic and gravitational fields is considered. The noncovariant spin formalism is crucial for the correct description of the
Equations of motion of a spinning relativistic particle in external fields
We consider the motion of a spinning relativistic particle in external electromagnetic and gravitational fields to first order in the external field but to arbitrary order in the spin. The influence
Magnetic-field uniformity in neutron electric-dipole-moment experiments
Magnetic field uniformity is of the utmost importance in experiments to measure the electric dipole moment of the neutron. A general parametrization of the magnetic field in terms of harmonic
Precession of the Polarization of Particles Moving in a Homogeneous Electromagnetic Field
The problem of the precession of the “spin” of a particle moving in a homogeneous electromagnetic field — a problem which has recently acquired considerable experimental interest — has already been
Manifestations of the rotation and gravity of the Earth in high-energy physics experiments
The inertial (due to rotation) and gravitational fields of the Earth affect the motion of an elementary particle and its spin dynamics. This influence is not negligible and should be taken into
DERIVATION OF GENERALIZED THOMAS–BARGMANN–MICHEL–TELEGDI EQUATION FOR A PARTICLE WITH ELECTRIC DIPOLE MOMENT
General classical equation of spin motion is explicitly derived for a particle with magnetic and electric dipole moments in electromagnetic fields. Equation describing the spin motion relative to the
Gravity and Spin Dynamics for the EDM Search Experiments
We review the General Relativity induced precession of a spin of relativistic particles in storage rings in terrestrial environment. Besides the clasical geodetic effect there emerges a spin rotation
Improved experimental limit on the electric dipole moment of the neutron.
TLDR
The results may be interpreted as an upper limit on the neutron EDM of |d(n)|< 2.9 x 10(-26)e cm (90% C.L.).
Equivalence principle and experimental tests of gravitational spin effects
We study the possibility of experimental testing the manifestations of equivalence principle in spin-gravity interactions. We reconsider the earlier experimental data and get the first experimental
