Algebra and Geometry have one and the same fate. The rather slow successes followed after the fast ones at the beginning. They left science at such step where it was still far from perfect. It happened, probably, because Mathematicians paid attention to the higher parts of the Analysis. They neglected the beginnings and did not wish to work on such field, which they finished with one time and left it behind. Nikolay Lobachevsky
