Mastoparan increases membrane bound phosphatidylinositol kinase and phosphatidylinositol 4-monophosphate kinase activities in Madin-Darby canine kidney cells.

Synthetic wasp venom Mastoparan induced an increase of [3H] inositol phosphates levels and a corresponding decrease of [3H]inositol phospholipids levels in Madin-Darby canine kidney (MDCK) cells.
