Beauveria bassiana (Balsamo) Vuellemin, Metarhizium anisopliae (Metschnikoff) Sorokin and Vertillium lecanii are entomopathogenic fungi (EPF) that occur naturally in the environment and have a potential as biological control agents against many insect pests.
