Marital status and the risk of suicide: experience from England and Wales, 1982-1996.

Abstract

This analysis examined suicide rates by age, sex, and marital status in England and Wales for the period 1982-1996. Never married, widowed, and divorced people had higher rates of suicide than those who were married, for both sexes.
