Field trials were conducted during the rainy seasons of 1993/94 for chemical control of groundnut leaf spot using a single spray. A fungicide mixture ofcarbendazim 0.05%+mancozeb 0.2% was applied once in different treatments. Spray timings varied from 30 d.a.s. to 80 d.a.s. at 10-day intervals. Spray application reduced the percent disease index in all treatments. A statistically significant increase in pod yield was obtained in treatments sprayed up to 50 d.a.s. in 1993.
