Human PTH(1-34) has been recognized for its marked anabolic effect on bone, but that effect has been reported to be lost after cessation of PTH treatment. The objective of this study was to determine the fate of hPTH-stimulated bone and whether this anabolic effect of PTH could be maintained by daily exercise.
