Magnetostriction of Ni/sub 2/MnGa in low and intermediate temperature phases

Abstract

The magnetostriction of low and intermediate temperature phases of a single crystal of Ni/sub 2/MnGa alloy is studied. The single crystal was prepared by the Bridgman method.
