A method was developed for the extraction of phthalic acid esters (PAEs) from bottled water. Surface-functionalized magnetic particles (MPs) were used as adsorbent of magnetic solid-phase extraction (MSPE). The MPs were prepared by using both polydimethylsiloxane and multiwalled carbon nanotubes.
