Abstract Nanocrystalline CeCuGa powders have been produced by mixalloy processing. Measurements of the magnetic properties are used to investigate the Kondo effect and magnetic ordering. The χ - T curve follows the Curie-Weiss law above 18.5 K. The Kondo lattice has also not been completely suppressed by the random atom stacking.
