This letter investigates the magnetic integration of the LCL filter in grid-connected inverters. By sharing an ungapped core and arranging the windings properly, the fundamental fluxes generated by the two inductors of an LCL filter cancel out mostly in the common core. Thus, the common core with low flux level can be dramatically reduced.
