This paper presents an algorithm which based on 2D MUSIC technique and designed for the simultaneous estimation of range and azimuth target location in frequency modulate continuous wave (FMCW) radar systems. Forward-backward spatial smoothing technique is used to improve performance of the algorithm in fully or partially correlated situations.
