Giant cell tumor of tendon sheath is a common tumor of the hand. Magnetic resonance can be used to confirm its presence, as well as characterize and determine its extent, contributing to the presurgical diagnosis, planning of the surgical approach, and diagnosis of recurrence. The authors describe the MR appearances in three cases, using spin-echo sequences with and without fat saturation and intravenous gadopentetate dimeglumine administration.
