  • Sirs: We report the clinical and neuroimaging findings in a case of disulfiram-induced neurotoxicity. The 52year-old man had been an alcoholic for 10 years. Alcohol intoxication was definitely stopped in August 1996. At that time disulfiram treatment was started at 500 mg daily, with full compliance. His usual daily medication had been 300 mg aspirin since a frontal ischemic stroke in 1995 and 100 μg levothyroxin for hypothyroidism.
