Since qualitative CT studies have suggested decreased cerebellar size in patients with bipolar disorder, we performed a quantitative analysis of the cerebellum in patients with bipolar disorder to determine whether high-resolution, thin slice magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) morphometry would reveal similar results.
