The paper presents a MISO Wiener-Hammerstein cascade model describing the thermal process of a single steam superheater stage. The non-linear static part is based on the energy balance of the medias involved in the process. The linear part involves the time dependence of the process. The derivative of the model can be easily obtained, which allows applying the Levenberg-Marquadt method for identification.
